Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Gems Bhutan Travels ("we", "our", "us"). By booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive a completed booking form and the required deposit. Final confirmation is subject to availability and receipt of full payment.

2. Payments

Tour payments can be made via bank wire transfer or PayPal. PayPal payments incur an additional transaction fee. All payments must be received in full prior to the tour start date.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

100% refund for cancellations made more than 60 days before your scheduled arrival.
50% refund for cancellations made within 60 days of arrival, due to hotel, transportation, and supplier booking policies.
Approved refunds are processed within two weeks.

4. Travel Insurance

All clients are required to have valid travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

5. Passport & Visa

Clients must hold a valid passport with at least six months validity from the travel date. We will facilitate Bhutan visa processing upon receipt of passport copies and required details.

6. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated promptly and adjusted to maintain the tour quality.

7. Responsibilities

Gems Bhutan Travels is not liable for delays, losses, or expenses due to natural disasters, political unrest, flight cancellations, or personal health issues. Clients are responsible for their personal conduct and belongings.

8. Health & Safety

Clients must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We prioritize safety and reserve the right to refuse participation if a traveler’s condition poses a risk.

9. Use of Media

Photos or videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Any disputes shall be resolved under Bhutanese jurisdiction.
