Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After a brief rest, begin exploring Paro, a charming valley known for its rich culture and historic landmarks. Visit the impressive Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of the Heap of Jewels), which houses monastic institutions and government offices, and stroll across its traditional wooden bridge. Next, stop at the National Museum (Ta Dzong), perched on a hilltop, to discover Bhutan’s fascinating heritage through art, relics, and ancient artifacts. Later, enjoy a gentle walk around Paro town, where you can browse traditional shops and experience the unique blend of Bhutanese architecture and lifestyle. If time permits, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, built in the 7th century. In the evening, return to your hotel for a welcome dinner and orientation, preparing for the journey ahead.

Hike up to the Tiger’s Nest, an iconic monastery built in 1696, and one of the most famous sites in Bhutan.  En route, visit the Drugyal Dzong, a preserved heritage site built in the 17th century to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders. While there, take in awesome sites of the snow-covered peaks of Jomolhari, Bhutan’s highest mountain. Overnight in Paro.

Your holiday in Bhutan continues with the trek from Paro to Jeledzong, a relatively short trek that ascends gradually through pine forests. While there, you get to see the imposing Lhakhang, inside which stands the 4m-high gilded statue of Sakyamuni. Overnight in camp.

This 3 to 4 hour trek will see you make a 310m ascent through thick temperate forest as you take in the splendid scenes of Mt. Chomolhari and other snow-capped peaks, especially if the weather is right. You may also come across yak herders around the campsite.  Overnight in camp.

This is a six-hour trek through Lake Jamilangtsho, a natural Lake that’s renowned for breathtaking beauty and giant-sized trouts. En-route, catch stunning views of andulating mountains and valleys as you make your way to the Lake Janetsho campsite at altitude of 3700m. Overnight in camp.

Follow the trail on the southern end of Lake Simkota and enjoy some of the best sights to see in Bhutan including a view of Mt. Gangkhar Punsum, a mountain in the Himalaya. After the pass, descend to Phajoding monastery where we will camp for the night ( Altitude 3200m). Overnight in camp.

As you wind up your holiday in Bhutan take a slow and leisurely trek downhill through the blue pine forest before checking into a hotel in Thimphu town. In the evening take a short stroll through this enchanting town. Overnight in Thimphu.

Today is dedicated to exploring Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital, blending modern development with deep-rooted traditions. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and the summer residence of the Je Khenpo, surrounded by beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a spiritual landmark where locals gather for daily prayers and circumambulation. Next, admire the towering Buddha Dordenma Statue at Kuensel Phodrang, offering panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley. Explore the Folk Heritage Museumto glimpse Bhutan’s rural lifestyle, followed by the Textile Museum, which highlights the country’s rich weaving traditions. Later, enjoy a stroll through Centenary Farmers’ Market (if open), where locals trade fresh produce and handicrafts. The day concludes with leisure time for shopping Bhutanese souvenirs, such as handmade crafts, prayer flags, and textiles, before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
